This page lists the cookies and similar browser storage that impostergames.org and its partners use, what each one does and how long it lasts. It adds detail to our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Sites can also save data in your browser's local storage and session storage. The same rules apply to all of them, so this page covers them together.

Your choices

Analytics: on your first visit, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics. It only loads if you press Accept analytics. To change your answer, press Cookie settings in the site footer. If you withdraw consent, we switch Google Analytics off and delete its cookies.

Advertising: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, our ad partner NitroPay asks for your consent in its own message. Press Update consent preferences in the footer to change it. California residents can use the Do Not Sell My Personal Information link in the footer.

Your browser: you can block or delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. If you block everything, the games can no longer remember your players and settings.

NitroPay and its partners use these to show and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud, detect ad blockers and, where allowed, personalise ads. The list below was recorded on the site on 28 September 2026. The exact set changes over time and depends on which advertisers bid for the ad space.

Ad companies such as Google, Amazon, Criteo, The Trade Desk, ID5 and Lotame also set cookies on their own domains. Those companies decide their names and lifetimes; NitroPay's consent tool and the partners' own policies list them.
