Who runs Imposter Games

Imposter Games is run by Mohammad Ahmadi, a private individual based in Sweden. You can reach us at Email or through the contact page.

The service

Imposter Games offers free party games, quizzes and picker wheels that run in your browser, with no account needed. We may add, change or remove games and features, and we may pause or stop the site at any time.

An account is optional and free. You can sign in with Google or Discord to keep your stats, and delete the account at any time on the account page.

Prices and refunds

Imposter Games is free. We don't sell anything: there are no purchases, subscriptions, premium features or paid content, so there is never anything to pay for or refund.

If we ever offer something paid, we will show its price and refund terms before you can buy it, and your rights as a consumer, including the EU right of withdrawal, will apply.

If anyone asks you to pay for Imposter Games, it isn't us. Please let us know at Email.

Age

You must be at least 13 to use online multiplayer and chat. Younger players may use them only together with a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for them. Some party packs, such as certain truth-or-dare prompts, are meant for older players, so choose packs that suit your group.

You must also be at least 13 to create an account.

Online play and acceptable use

You are responsible for your nickname, clues and chat messages. Don't:

• harass, threaten, bully or insult other players, or post hateful, sexual or violent content;
• share personal information about yourself or anyone else, such as full names, addresses or phone numbers;
• impersonate someone else, spam or advertise;
• cheat, exploit bugs, or disrupt other players' games or our game server;
• scrape the site, flood it with automated requests, or try to get around its limits or security.

Chat is not moderated in real time. Room hosts can remove players, and we may close rooms, block access or remove content that breaks these rules. To report a problem, email Email with the room code and what happened.

What you type

You keep any rights you have in the names, clues, messages and custom words you enter. You allow us to send and show them to the other players in your room, only as far as needed to run the game. Anything you enter while playing on one device stays on that device.

Our content, trademarks and fan-made modes

The site's design, code, text and word lists belong to Imposter Games or its licensors. You're welcome to use the games for free for personal and group play, including in classrooms and on streams. Please don't copy the site or its content in bulk or republish it as your own.

Imposter Games is an independent, fan-made project. Games, films, TV shows, sports leagues, clubs, players and brands mentioned on the site, for example Pokémon, Clash Royale, LEGO Ninjago, Star Wars, Naruto, One Piece, the NFL, NBA, NHL and Premier League, are named only to describe what a game is about. All trademarks, characters and names belong to their owners. Imposter Games is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright or trademark, email Email with: the work you own, the page where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner. We will review every complaint promptly and remove the material if the complaint is valid.

Ads and other sites

The site shows ads served by NitroPay and its partners. We don't choose individual ads and don't endorse the products advertised. Links to other sites, such as our Discord server, are for convenience only; those sites have their own terms and privacy policies.

No guarantees

Imposter Games is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running well, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of errors or secure, or that every quiz answer and word list is correct. The games are for entertainment.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Imposter Games. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or takes away your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of that country's mandatory consumer laws and can bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using Imposter Games after a change, the updated terms apply.
